About Librocco
Stergios Stamatiou started LIBROCCO, his personal brand, in 2019 as a means to showcase and consolidate his work and services.
Stergios is a young film editor, filmmaker and general creative professional working as a freelancer in Thessaloniki for the past years. Having been interested in computers as well as filmmaking since a very early age, he aims to take up on various multimedia projects especially those that challenge him the most. He does not believe in homogeneity of ideas and tries to maintain high standards and an original approach no matter the scope of the work at hand by caring for all the things that will make it stand out.
He studied computer science at the University of Stirling and Aristotle Univeristy of Thessaloniki and is a sysadmin enthusiast and technical power user; skills that greatly support him in his journey to blend technology, design and art. Since 2020, he is also a core member of ELFF productions, a production team based in Thessaloniki. He has been involved in the production, as a co-director, camera operator or production assistant, as well as the post-production of 3 short films, of which, two have won awards at festivals domestically and abroad. Post-Production is his passion and always likes to take hold of it in its entirety. In his free time he usually works on other projects involving software/web development or his passion hobby, transportation engineering, making railway alignments and metro maps for fun.
